A movie by Karl Lagerfeld
It’s been a few months since designers presented the Fall/Winter 2011 collections. Now, it’s Cruise 2011/2012 time, and Chanel will show its latest collection along with a 30-minute movie, written and directed by Karl Lagerfeld.
The film, “The Tale of a Fairy”, is filled with famous faces, such as Freja Baha as the fairy, Kristen McMenamy, Lady Amanda Harlech, and Mark Venderloo. Karl Lagerfeld says, “The movie is about an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling.”
The short film will be available to view on Monday at 9PM GMT on www.chanel.com, and here’s the trailer.

Inspire Me Icy
I am loving these images of Michelle Williams in May 2011 issue of Interview magazine. In fact, when developing a Spring/Summer 2012 inspiration board last November, I put many pictures of icy, cold, clean looks that reminded me of Iceland. I have been into pale, porcelain white looks, and platinum hair. I even named some colors Glazed Blue, Frozen White, and Almost Lilac!

(In)appropriately Greeted
Wise man says communication is key to every relationship, and so is honesty. If you want to make sure the other person really gets the message, send one of Sweet Perversion cards. Started by two ‘bored’ girls from Orange County, California, the greeting cards are honest, blunt, witty, and can be inappropriate… But that’s okay, because in the age of social networking, creative self-expression is essential.
